Tower Visits

Southwold Church Tower 

The Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southwold is blessed to have an accessible Tower with an interior staircase opening onto a viewing terrace.

The Tower terrace gives spectacular views over the whole of the town of Southwold including its Lighthouse and other landmarks, the River Blyth, the sea and the beautiful Suffolk countryside.

Church Tower Opening and visits

In 2025 the Tower of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be open from 11am-3pm on the following days:

  • Holy Saturday                                 Saturday 19 April 2025
  • Spring Bank Holiday Monday     Monday 26 May 2025
  • Sacred Heart Feast weekend     Saturday 28 June 2025
  • August Bank Holiday Monday   Monday 25 August 2025
  • Ride & Stride Saturday                     Saturday 13 September 2025

No prior booking is required. Just come along and enjoy the views.
